My week

Well, I had to work sunday but that is it. I was off last thursday-sat and now I'm off again from mon-mon.. Wow!! It has been nice. We were suppose to go to charleston for the week for our 2 year anniversary. Well because of school I had a test on wed and she would not let me make it up or take it early. So stuck here!! We will use the week another time!

Well, with all my time I have gotten up everyday about 730.. Arent I suppose to sleep in????? I finished my christmas shopping, sent our christmas cards out, cleaned, spent lots of time with my mom shopping for Peyton, regisitering for her also.. Any many more things. First I must just say Thanks to Summer for letting me know about the great sale I went to for baby clothes. I got Peyton some of the cuttest smock dresses. I got her christmas outfit for next year and easter dress. and of course a few more things. I wanted to buy everything. Oh yea I also went to this childrens store of Hwy 9 (Tickled Pink) and on their sale rack had a cute blue smock dress on sale. Guess how much I paid for it $4!!! Thats right I was sooo excited..But that was about the only thing on sale everything else was still like $50. I just can't see myself paying that! I did go to another place and they had a orange Clemson dress. Yeah it was like $58. nope I dont thing sooo...

Anyway, I have ordered my furniture and going to start painting this week and hopefully by the end of January once everything is in I will have a beautiful nursery set up..

I go to the doctor next wed and I'll be 23 weeks. I'll update on that then. She moves around like crazy and I think she dances on my bladder at times. =) But pregnancy so far has really been wonderful and I have no complaints so far. I'm just so happy and thankful to God for this wonderful miracle of life he has blessed me with.

Long time I know

So I was having issues with my blog and just gave up all together and stopped blogging. But now its fixed and hopefully I will start back more. So probably noone will even see this since I haven't blogged in two months.

Lots of things have been going here. One of which I am now 21 weeks pregnant. IT'S A GIRL!! We couldn't be more happy. Peyton Grace Kellett! I can't wait to meet her. I just love her so much already. She moves all the time and if I sit there long enough I can see her poke me =) Drew has felt her alot too!! I just ordered by bedding today. I can't wait to get it in. Her nursery is going to be pink and brown with some green in stripes and a paisly print!

I am finishin up with school for this semester. It was actually pretty easy. So I have all my classes to get into Clemson for next fall! I am taking 2 classes this spring so I dont have to take them at Clemson. One is 8 weeks long a health assessment class that runs till march 18th. I sure hope she doesnt decide to come before then! It may be a little stressful for me but totally worth it in the end.

We have been decorating for christmas and will go get our tree friday and put it up. I have thanksgiving off so I'm excited about that! And I have not done not one thing of christmas shopping. Drew and I are attempting to go out friday and get it done!

I hope to buy a new digital camera with my christmas money and then I can put more pics on here. I had to throw my old one away because it broke of course.

My new exciting News!!!

Well, I dont know if anyone ever looks at my blog anymore because I have been a slacker on blogging. I just can't seem to get into it lately. But I did want to go ahead and spill my secret I have held on two for over 2 months. Well, God has truly blessed us and has blessed us with a baby so yes yes yes!!!

I'm 12 weeks pregnant!!!!

Can I just say what a hard secret it was to keep. I found out at like 3 weeks! We got pregnant like 6 weeks after my miscarriage. Not really planned but I'm just happy to know I have no trouble getting prego!! Although I have to be honest and say It has been hard to enjoy. I'm so happy and thrilled but at the same time I was just so scared it would happen again. I know that worrying is a sin and believe me when I tell you I continuosly prayed for peace of mind. Well, I now can feel relived to know I'm almost done with the first trimester. Baby Kellett is due April 7th!!! It's been kindof nice because they have been doing ultrasounds once a week just to keep an eye on the little thing and it has been amazing to see how much he/she grows in just one week. We just had an ultrasound done yesturday and it actually looked like a baby. He waved to us and it just warmed my heart. I just can't wait to meet this little person!!!

Everyone please just keep us in your prayers that I continue to have a good pregancy. I have had nausea and its always at night but I can't complain!!

Clemson game!

So Drew's dad got us season Clemson tickets for this year and I'm so excited!! Although I'm sure I won't be at every home game anyway! We went to the game this past weekend with my hubby and best friend Lisa and her husband and Drew's dad. We had fun but it was just EXTREMLY hot. Here are some pics!

for the lack of blogging. I have been trying to keep up with others but I just can't find the time or words to blog. August was a good month. My 25th birthday was celebrated. I had many lunches and dinners with many friends. And oh yeah the dreaded school was started back. I go every mon and wed night and so I am working every tue, thurs, and friday. Good news is that we have enough people working weekends now to where I don't have to work any. It hasn't been like that since I have been a nurse. I thank those that working it. The hospital actually pays them what we call (baylor) 10 more dollars an hour. Which is great! But every weekend.. No Not me.! I would hate to miss church all the time. I was waiting so I could post some pics of whats been going on but I'm so bad at doing that so maybe another time.

Can I just say I'm so happy it's getting fall time. This is my favorite time of year! Oh yeah and Clemson football season and this year we have season tickets!! woohooo! We have LOTS of things coming up in the next few months and will keep you all updated..

SUMMER!!!!!!

Productive day

I must say even though I sleep in till 10 that I have already had a very productive day. I just finished my paper for my religion class and its not even 4 yet. woohooo!!! I also went and got my hair cut this morning by my friend Summer L. She did a great a job and we had a very good conversation =) If anyone needs there haircut she does a great job. She is at designing (oops I forgot) what it was. Just go to her blog if you want her to do your hair because I def recommend her. I have also done 3 loads of laundry and only 2 more left and have straightened up the house. Im debating on even attempting to take a nap since I work 3rd tonight. I can easily nap but when I know I NEED to I can't ever get to sleep or I start sleeping when its time to get up. Either way I work with two of my friends tonight so hopefully they can keep me awake. Everyone have a great thursday.

Quick prayer request

One of my really good friends whom I work with and go to church with (AMY) Is having her baby boy today! They induced her this am and just broke her water around 8am. I just talked with her and she feels great. Sounded like she had alot of energy which she will need soon!! Her contractions are not too bad yet. Just please pray everything goes well and they have a healthy happy baby and delivery. It took them a long time to get pregnant and still the doctors don't know how she kept this baby. This has definitly been a miracle baby for them.

The Confused!!!!!!!

So I'm sitting here at work and my patient is so funny and sweet that I just wanted to post about it. This old little man is awake (which is unusual for my patient population) but he has demetia with alzheimers. This morning he started singing the blues for me and he is just so precious. The day started off with him pleasantly confused but when I just now came him he was half naked and trying to get out of the bed. So I have to remind him of where he is at and not to get up. It had gotten dark in the room which does not help the confused I might add. He got a little beligerant for a minute because he had to go to work to make the money. Bless his heart!! Well, he is more confused now and continues to try to get out of bed and throws his clothes off =( The only way I can get him to stay in bed is to tell him to sing. So I am sitting here listening to him sing so he does not get out of bed and end up on the floor with a head injury. This little light of mine is singing loud in my ear right now. But I have to say I guess I'm going to have to sit in this room till my shift ends. In the meantime I have a million things to do but I guess I'm going to have to entertain him for the rest of my time. But he is currently getting more anxious we speak. Oh what to do with this confused people. All I have to say his bless his heart!

Quick Update!

Well not to much exciting things going on in the Kellett house lately. Drew has been working like crazy and coming late =( Although, I have been working more too since he is gone. I mine as well make some money if he is not at home. Our yard is in need of some rain. He teases us all the time. I will hear the thunder and see the lightning but never a drop at our house. I think it just decides to skip over it. I just can't believe it's July already. I know it sounds crazy but I'm ready for fall anyway! My favorite time of year.

It sounds like most of you guys had a good 4th. We did too. We went to Drew's dad and laid out at his new pool. We had ribs, barbeque and much more sides. I was defintely stuffed! We decided to not go watch fireworks because I had to be up at 530 to go to work so we went home about 7 and watched Ramboo (sp?) It was actually good and Drew couldn't believe that I liked it. Sunday was a lounge day. Then I was off mon and tues. So I had lunch with my dear friend Abby and baby meg who is just precious and just soo big! For dinner last night we cooked out with our dear friends the Hamrick's and Howard's. We had steak and shrimp and some homemade peach cobbler that Jenny made. It was wonderful. We had such a great time but then it was late and we all realized we had to get up early the next day. So I'm work now and thought I would do a quick update of whats going on in our lives this week. Just another week of work! =(

Great Week

I can't believe it's almost already another week. Last week after I got off work tuesday night Drew and I headed to Litchfield for the week with his family. We had sucha great time. I think it has been since our honeymoon since we actually took a vacation together. It was a much needed one and all we did was lie on the beach. Our house was right on the beach and it was GREAT! I can't wait to go back there again next year. I have never been to Litchfield before and it's only about 30min away from myrtle. Although, Drew and I don't like myrtle anyway!

I'm so excited because we get to go to Wild Dunes in charleston for our 2 year wedding anniversary in december. I'm so excited about it. I think were going to invite my parents to come for a couple of days. There not the traveling kindof people and have never even been to charleston.

We went to church today and taught our cute 3 year olds. Which come august were moving up with them and teaching 4 year olds. I'm very excited because there is such a difference just between the ages. Plus we love the kids and want another year with them.We then had lunch with our friends the Amerson's. God has truly blessed with some great friends from church. We pigged out on some pizza from Mellow Mushroom and it was really good and the first time we had been there.

Well, off to another week of work and school. ughhhh. I started a social commitee at work for my unit and this week were going to eat at City Range and I'm so excited because that is one of my fav's.

Drew's Montana mission trip.

So Drew went on his first ever mission trip with a bunch of people from our church to Montana to help them build a church. This church I think he said had about 30 members and has had no preacher for 2 years. He even said another church that was near them had been saving up money for years to help build a new church until they heard about this church and there need to build. Well, this other church after saving up bunches of money gave all there money to this church. It was a great deal of money too but I think how wonderful that was and that church regained that money in a year. Blessing do come from helping people. Well, here are some pics from his time there. He didnt get to many of the actual church or an after pic. guys!!

Week update

Well, this has been a week. I have been hubby less since Saturday. I just can't tell you how much I miss him! I hate him not being here. He went on a mission trip with some others from our church to Montana to help build a church. He has talked none stop about how pretty it is and how he wants to take me there.

Him and Brandon and two others were able to go to Yellowstone while they were there. This is Drew's second time there except this time it was daylight. He got to see all kinds of things and I will post pics when he comes back.

I decided I was going to be a big girl and stay by myself. Sooo Saturday I go to bed just Gizmo and me and get a phone call at 2am with some not nice things to say. It sounded like a drunk Mexican. Well, scared me to death and I just knew someone knew I was home by myself. So the rest of the week has been spend at my parents.. Ahhh, I hate not being in my home.

Today I drive to Columbia and stay the night because I have a wedding I'm in. I can't wait to come home tomorrow night and pick my hubby up. I know he is ready to come back home too.

Please pray for me as I drive to Columbia and Please pray for the guys as they come back from Montana and they get back safely.

Thanks bunches

I just wanted to say thank you to all for their kind and uplifting words. Also, for the prayers!!!!! I just can't say how blessed we are. Sometimes it takes something traumatic to open you eyes. Well, mine our WIDE open. He definitely got my attention. Our family has been so great through this tough time. Also, especially our church friends I just can't thank them enough for all the prayers and encouraging words.

I think I received about 7 or 8 bundles of flowers from people. They were all so very pretty and really did make me feel better. Summer L. yours just now died so yours lasted a long time. I also had a friend make a pot of orange Gerber daisy and some purple flowers (Clemson colors). There so pretty but unfortunately I think I have manged to kill them :( I watered them and everything. Hmmmm.

Well, again thank you for everything and keeping us in your prayers. I will definitely let you all know when we do have more news but I will definitely be waiting a while this time.

Sad Update

God works in mysterious ways and I do know that! It's just not always easy understanding why? Tuesday, Drew and I went for our regular 11 week doctor appt and they started with the doppler to find the heartbeat. Well, I had been trying for a week or so at work to try and find it myself with the help of a co-worker and could not find it. Well, we along with our doctor were not concerned since you don't always hear it until past 12 weeks. Our doctor, Dr.Ellis then was going to do an abdominal ultrasound and I was so excited to get another ultrasound because I did not think I would get one for another month or so. I knew something was wrong when I saw the look on her face. I could slightly see the screen and I did not see anything. She finally said that she was sorry and could not hear the heartbeat and saw and empty sac. My heart sank, and I just started crying. She stepped out of the room for minute and Drew and I just prayed that she was wrong. She came back to have a vaginal ultrasound and you could see the baby with no heartbeat. It was really hard for her to tell us I know. I never never ever thought it would have been as hard to handle as it was then. But not only that this happened at about 8 weeks. So I had been walking around for 3 1/2 weeks not knowing. That just made it even harder. I have never seen Drew so excited about something until I told him we were going to have baby and to see that taken away was devestating. There are no words to describe it. At the time I was unconsolable (sp?) but Drew just hugged me and prayed.

As hard as all of this was it still wasnt over quite yet. Obviously my body never expelled of this and so they had to take me to surgery and put me to sleep to have a D&C. I'm thankful that they did put me to sleep because if I had been awake it would have been awful.I was so nervous about doing this.My concern is about the future and what if this happens again.Or what if the procedure does something to me. We want a family so desperatly bad and to think about this happening again or what if something prohibits us from having kids. I had all these thoughts going through my head at one time. We come in at 840 am to have what we think will be great doctors visit and dont leave till 3 feeling empty. I just can't explain the feeling.

I know that this happened for a reason. God knew what he was doing when he took that precious angel to heaven. I know I will oneday see this little person but it still too hard to comprehend. You still can't help to think of if you did something wrong to contribute to this. I don't think I have ever been so cryful. I know this is normal but I don't know when It will stop. I never thought I could love something so much that I had never even met and then have it taken away from me. We left that hospital with one less of us and I just can't explain how that feels.

Drew has been such a great husband through all of this. Waiting on me hand and foot and just hugging me everytime I break down. It's been hard to sleep. And I'm tired I just cant stay asleep. Our family and friends have been so supportive. It's so nice to have such caring people in our lives. This is the hardest thing I have encoutered in my life so far and it will take sometime to get over it. We were so excited and getting ready to empty out our spare bedroom. I just thought I was just getting ready to get over the first trimester without any complications. This has been the hardest thing and I still need your prayers!!!! Thank you to all that have been so wonderful through this. Terri thank you so much for the flowers. I will call you soon!

I know December will be hard for me and thinking about the baby that was suppose to be here with us. Drew even bought me a pearl ring for Mothers Day and now I'm like I'm not a mom. I just look at the ring and it makes me sad. This my seem weird or silly but we really thought it was a girl and I think to help me cope with this we decided to give the baby a name. Cayliegh Grace!! Drew always kissed my belly and called her that.

I still need lots of prayers!!! So please pray for us to heal!! Actually, writing this helps me cope with this. We know there will be other babies and this happened for a reason but you still always wonder why me?

I need to vent!!

Ok. I'm going to strangle my dog. A few weeks ago when I went to wash our bed sheets What do I find? Pee stain!! When did this happen? I have no idea. It was dry. How did I not see it before this I dont know. So needless to say I was furious and washed our entire bedding!!! Well I wake up this morning to start washing clothes and went again to was our bed sheets and ahhhhh again. Dry pee stain. The only time he is on our bed is when were asleep at night. I dont just let him up there to roam and he can't jump on our bed when were gone. So does he just get up in the middle of the night and pee and go back to bed i dont know. What do I do?? I need help. My dog is 3 years old and still wants to pee!!!! I'm a pretty neat freak and this just kills me. So I stand there and yell at him like I'm sure he know what I'm talking about. So we are taking the carpet out in the future baby's room and now guess what I cant take it anymore that we just going to have to take the carpet out of our bedroon. Its sooo embarrasing. I dont even see it when he does it!!!! Its the only option though. I dont want my carpet to smell like pee!!

Any suggestions on how to get my dog not peeing in my house. I take him out all the time and he will continue to pee inside. I love him to death but its driving me crazy!!!

Too busy to blog!

Well, I have just not had the time to blog lately. I read up on everyones but just haven't sat down to give it time. Well I have been busy over the last two weeks. I gave a shower and have been to two. Last weekend I went to charleston with some of my girlfriends. Luckily it wasnt rainy and we enjoyed our day on the beach on saturday. I have worked a good bit this past week along with settling up with my classes and studying for exams that are this week :(

Drew was out of town on a mens golf retreat with our church from wed to sat. Oh how I missed him. We have hardly seen each other since I was out of town then worked then he was gone. I'm such a baby when it comes to staying by myself. Well, lets just say I did stay with my parents the first two nights which was nice and reminded of old times. However, friday night after our Sunday School class cookout I decided I was going to wing it since I did have to work on sat. Guess what nobody got me :() I know I know. I always here noises and think someone is trying to get in. I survived though!! I got to get off work early on sat and was home by 4pm. Drew had just got there. He was exhausted and we laid down for a little bit until finally I just had to GET OUT. We had a date and went and ate dinner at Logan's. We also went to Mr.Knickerbocker to find some baby Clemson stuff. Oh its killing me not to know what were having. I want to buy stuff soooooo bad.

Oh speaking of baby. Yeah, we had our first ultrasound about 2 1/2 weeks ago. We got to hear the heartbeat and it was just soooo amazing. How can something that tiny even have a heartbeat. Well, while we were there the decided to change my due date :( It's Dec 5th now. Hopefully this baby will come a little before then.Still I havent been sick. I definitily have been more tired especially after 12 hours of work. Please continue to pray for us and this little one.....

Off to another busy week of work and school. Then three more showers this weekend! Hope everyone has a great week..

ME!!!!!



This has been a very hard secret to keep ladies for those of you that dont know allready. This my be two much info but I just have to say I must be very fertle!!! We were trying to wait to tell people until I was like 10 weeks but um NO that didnt happen. Its just so hard when your so excited about something.I had my first doctors appt this past friday and everything went great. I go back in about a week to have my first ultrasound. I'm about 7 weeks. Drew is soooo excited. He kisses my belly everyday. I'm so ready to decorate a nursery. I have allready been looking at things. Our families are sooo excited too. This is the first grandchild on both sides and first great granchild too.



I'm so excited but please keep us in you prayers that this will be a healthy baby. Also another good thing is I have been feeling great. No sickness! I hope it stays this way. I almost dont believe that I am pregnant.

Oh yeah. The baby is due November 29th. Thanksgiving baby :) Yeah I have my holidays off!!!!!

Finally back to blogging

I cant believe I have waited a month to blog again. I guess nothing to exciting to blog about lately. I have had spring break this week. yeah!! But I just worked instead of schooling it. Easter was great. We taught our kids in SS and then went to our big service and my whole family came to church with us. We then ate lunch. Most of Drews family is in Europe. BOOO!! So I was kindof sad not see them all.

Oh did I mention we were invited to go to France this summer!!! Drews grandparents and some of his aunts and uncles go every year. But can I tell how upset I am that we had to turn them down :( I am in a wedding and have school. Bummer though! Hopefully we can go with them one year.

I know this was quite random but I must go now. I should have more exciting things to talk about over the next few months :) We have lots going on.

13 Things I must do in the next 3 months for my girls weddings.

1. Go to Lisa's shower at Julies in a couple of weeks

2. Organize and host Lisa's bridal shower along with some other girls at Walnut Lane Inn in April

3. Then go to Jess's two shower in columbia. Luckily there on the same day so only one trip.

4. Find shoes with lisa for my dress.

5.Organize and host Lisa's bachlorette party. I have no idea what to do for it. Any ideas???

6. Get all their presents for their showers. I need to get on the ball though.

7. Work TONS of overtime to pay for all of this.:)

8. Give Jessica her lawn and garden shower that we will have at Lisa's. I'm so glad none are at my house. Now I don't have to worry about cleaning and just let my house get as dirty as I want it :)

9. Find shoes for Jess's wedding. Hopefully she will let me wear my shoes from Lisa's wedding... NO HEELS!!! I'm tall enough as it is :(

10. Book our room for Columbia for Jess's wedding.

11. Get my hair cut and highlighted for both weddings.

12. Go hang out with Jess since I am not going to her bachlorette party.

13. After all these weddings May 10th and June 7th. I will relax for a little while until I have another wedding I'm in. I guess come soon it will be all Baby Showers :) Maybe sooner rather than later ;)

What a week last week was. I didn't stop the whole time. Drew had this great idea of updating our kitchen right before I had a baby shower at our house. Well, I thought ok that's fine. He assured me it would be done halfway in the week. Wrong!!!! It took till this past sat night and he had started the sat before. It was soo worth it in then end. But my poor husband had to put up with me being cranky. He went crazy though on the house. He had people in repainting the base boards and our crown molding. Taking our front door down and putting up a new one. All kind of things that made our house look like a construction zone.

Well, I had to work the last three days of the week and didnt get to clean my house till sat. I did get off work early so we could go to our new Sunday School class meeting at our friends home. So from there we came home and were up till 2am cleaning. We were exhausted and eating Waffle House at 130am. It was soooo good though. Well we then went to bed and was up in a few hours for church.

We had a great turn out for our first sunday of our new SS class. We had to split up becuase we were tooo big. Well we had over 20 the first day and still missing some people that could not come. We love our SS class!!! Well, afterwards we came home and I started preaparing my food for the baby shower for my friend Abby from church. Everyone from church came at about 2pm. We had a great time and could not stop talking :) I guess that is girls for you. We stood in the road talking for another 45 mins. Summer good thing you didnt get run over.haha.. Oh and then this creppy cat kept staying around. It looked like half his face was missing. It was a great time though.

Well I cleaned up and by then it was like 515. I layed down for a minute and then it was time to go back to church. Drew went to the boby building service and I went and helped with the 4 year old preschool choir. There just so precious. It's just amazing to see the difference between the 3 and 4's. The 4's do what I ask for the most part. But my 3 year old on Sunday mornings not so much.

All together it was a hectic and stressful week but my kitchen looks great and I'm so happy with it. I will have to post some pics when I get a chance.

Some things!!!

You know I keep forgetting about Thursday Thirteens. I havent done one in a while. My goal this week it to remember to do one :)

Anyway, Not much going on in the world of the Kelletts. Terri I missed ya this weekend :( I have to say I'm excited our friends Matt and Nicole came to church with us today and they loved it. I get so excited when people are looking for a new church because I'm always like "You need to try our church, It is GREAT!" This is the way I want to feel though. Luckily there going to come back. I hope they find themselves joining one day.

Saturday we went to a couples baby shower for a couple in our SS class. It was really alot of fun. We played a game where they had melted different chocolate bars in diapers and we had to guess the chocolate bar. I think the guys were into more than the girls. It was hilarious because it really looked real and it was totally gross. We also played a game where you could not say the word "baby". The guys were doing really well at it I must say.

I took my first test in american lit tonight and yeah I did good. I asked Drew tonight if he would be mad at me if I just quit going and of course he said yes. I was really hoping for a no because it would be so easy to just stop. I am not motivated not one little bit right now. Please pray for me to continue this and God give me strength.

Weekend Ramblings

We have had such a great weekend. We both were able to spend time together and just have fun the whole weekend.



Friday night I came home from work and and started some laundry and we were both in the bed and asleep by 930. I guess this is one of the perks of not having kids. We slept will 8am! We had almost 12 hours of sleep. :) Well we went to Greenville after getting ready and went to Jeff Lynch. Yeah, we got our new stainless appliances for the kitchen. Then we looked at some more counter tops. I must say this is a very hard decision. I just can't picture things in my head. My husband has got on whim to do these things since were having a shower at our house in the next couple of weeks. So I say anything to get him motivated ! I didn't even have to ask him. So I'm just glad were getting it down. We have talked about if for a year now. Well after all that Nicole and Terri came to pick me up and we went to see our friend Amber and her new baby Jackson. He is just a precious and quite baby. We passed him around for hours and he never woke up. Time slipped by and before we knew it was 6pm. We then went with the Johnson's and the White's to Cooper River Grill and had to wait about 2 hours before we actually sat down. We had so much fun with these guys. Terri your husband was sooo nice. I can't wait to hang out more.

Sunday-We went to church and our our groundbreaking service and our 20Th anniversary service. It was such a blessing to be part of something so special and be part of a church our children will grow up in one day. We then ate lunch with the Flynn's. Their baby is getting so big and Holden is just sooo cute. We came home and Drew laid down for a nap and just as I was too my surprise we had visitors. First my brother and his girlfriend and then my parents. I love them all so much and was so happy to spend some time with them.Of course my dog did not like the new puppy my brother has and proceeded to grawl at him. :( My baby what happened to him..haha. Well now I plan on taking my nap. We have no Church service tonight. Drew is cooking dinner!!

I love sleep way to much!

Well I have had such a weird sleep schedule this week and let me tell you I sure did get my sleep today. Well, first I worked Monday and Tuesday night shift. So Tuesday I slept till 3pm but then was up and cleaning the house and headed off to work. Wed I slept till 2pm because my mom brought over my dog. So I went ahead and stayed up because I had school that night and had to work the next day shift. Well lucky me I get a call this morning and at first I thought it was work calling me to tell me that It was 705 and where was I. Yes I have a tendency of sleeping through 4 alarms..haha. (who does that?). Well actually it was like 5am and they were calling me to put me on call since we did not have enough patients for me to come in. I was like yeah!!!!! I have four days this week and would love to go back to sleep. So yes I went back to sleep. Well I got a call from Amy at 830 saying I needed to come in so I get up and take my shower and then she calls back to say no don't come in yet that patient will not be here till 2pm. Well I got ready anyway thinking I would get called in anytime now. I crawled back in the bed and slept till 130. I guess my body just needed to re cope (sp?) from my working nights. I feel lazy though :( But lucky me again theystill have not called me into work at its past 2 and now too late to call me in. So needless to say I have pretty much sleep my days away..

On another note I'm really excited because tonight were going to pick out new counter tops and then new appliances this weekend. For those that don't know my counter tops are ugly green marble like. My appliances don't work very well and so I'm very exited.

Weekend Recap!!

Well another week and weekend has gone by. For some reason I have been so tired this week and I only had to work three days so I don't know why. Of course I worked and went to school. That's about it for the week part. Luckily the roads were not very bad Thursday when Drew had to take me to work and I was late again. I slept through 4 alarms. How do you do that? haha...

Friday night I had to go buy baby wrapping paper for two shower's on Saturday. Then I came home to ice 24 cupcakes for one of the showers. My sweet husband had to bake them for me so I wasn't up all night doing it. Saturday I went with my friends Amy and Amber to a baby shower. Did not get to stay long because we had another baby shower for a girl in our SS class at 2pm. I helped them set up a bit for that but did not stay so I could go to Brianna 1st birthday party (My cousins baby). She was just precious and definitely enjoyed getting pink icing all over her face and hands. We hung out at my cousins all day and then went and ate Denny's for dinner with them. We again were in bed early Saturday night. Sunday we were off to church for preaching and SS class. Afterwards we ate lunch with my family for my brothers 23rd birthday. I can't believe he is 23 life goes by so fast. I'm lucky to be so close to him and were only about 17 months apart. We went to my parents for a bit then came home so I could do some school work. WELL, I was so tired and instead put it off for a much need hour nap... yeah!!!! It was great. I woke in time to go back to church. Afterwards we had dinner with some friends from SS, the Louderrmilk's, The Laney's, and the Smiths. We had so much fun with them all and just getting to know them better. I thank God everyday that he has lead us to a place were we feel comfortable and want to part of. They announced today that our SS class is too big and that and its going to split up. I had mixed emotions at first but know I'm very excited about this new change. It such a blessing that were growing so fast. Our friends the Loudermilk's will be heading the class and I know that they will be doing a great job.

OK. now I'm done with this and I really, really need to do some reading but I keep procrastinating.. And that is so unlike me. Please pray for my as I have a busy and weird work schedule this week and my hubby will be out of town for the first part of the week..

Winter Weather

Well of course as we have all seen on the news yes winter weather is coming. You know what I hate about this!!! I have to go to work no matter what. I am not aloud to call in. Obviously the hospital does not close... man!!!! So I will have to travel in this crazy weather and let me just tell you about last years winter weather. Drew took me to work and we were all over Reidville Road. We lost control of our car and headed in the other lane and ended up almost in the ditch. Thank God there was no oncoming traffic.. Then my husband really did end up in a ditch on his way home and had to call my dad to get him out. So now I'm really unhappy about this possible weather. Ok. not to mention my husband is out of town working and may not be back by then. What to do?? You definitely don't want me on the road...haha. and it will probably have to be my dad to take me. So please just pray we have no bad weather because I don't want my car to end up in a ditch again and if I'm driving that is highly possible.

Rhonda Happy Birthday!!!!

This is one of the girls in my Sunday School class. I won't mention how old she will be hahaah. I think 23 Right?? I just wanted to wish her Happy Birthday. Have a GREAT week Rhonda!!!

Bare Minerals it!!!!

Ok. I have been meaning to post something about this so here it is..


I started using Bare Minerals back in october and I Love It. It's such great makeup! I never wear foundation and this stuff looks like foundation when you apply it. My skin looks so good with. Or, at least I think it does. The good thing too is its not that expensive. Of course, it is more expensive than stuff out of CVS, but as far as department stores its about the same. I got mine from Ulta in greenville. I'm so excited because I finally found makeup that looks good on me and I feel good about it.

I just thought I would share this with the ladies.

My thoughts of the week!!

Ok I had probably not a very interesting week to most. I pretty much worked all week. Sunday we went to church and SS. Ate lunch with my family and then enjoyed the rest of the day at home :) I worked Monday and then Drew and I watched the Clemson game and we were so tired that we feel asleep halfway through. We did wake up in time to watch the ball drop. Yes this is how we spent our New Years!!! It was fun for us though :) I was oncall New Years Day so couldnt go to far. I took down christmas decor and Drew and I watched the first season of Greys Anatomy. My husband has been addicted to it this week and I'm glad because that is my favorite show. I then worked Wed-Sat. I was exhausted at the end of all those 12 hour shifts. So yeah nothing much was done around our house this week.

Today we went to church and heard a great sermon by our pastor. Then to SS. I love going and we are enjoying becoming better acquainted to those that are there.

On another note it brings me to my many New Years Resolutions.. Here they are in no particular order:

1. Increase my relationship with God and become more involved with chruch.

2. Be a more supportive wife. (I can nag at times)

3. For Drew and I so grow closer together in every aspect of our life especially spiritually.

4. Get healthy and work out 3 days a week.

5. Save money!!!!!!

2007 was such a great year and this year is going to be even better!!!!
